I’m new to burlesque, can I join the showcase term?

 

The showcase term is open level and will cater to all dance and experience levels. If you would like to discuss whether a class will be suitable for you, please contact Viola at violaverve@gmail.com.

 

 

What should I wear?

 

For classes you are encouraged to dress comfortably in something you are able to move easily and freely in.

 

You are welcome to bring/wear heels, however the classes are all barefoot friendly throughout the term, unless stated otherwise by Viola throughout the term.

 

If you are performing in The Vintage Showcase, Viola will discuss all costume items and requirements in week 1. Costumes will be budget friendly and size inclusive.

Do you offer payment plans?

 

A deposit is required to secure your booking into the class/ term, however payment plans are available - please email Viola at violaverve@gmail.com for payment plan options.

Do the classes have an age restriction?

 

Yes - burlesque classes are strictly for adults only. Participants must be 18 years or over.

Who is burlesque classes for?

 

Burlesque is for everyone - everyone is welcome to join in a burlesque class, no matter what age, size or gender you are.

Do I have to remove my bra?

 

No - costume requirements will be discussed week 1. Students who wish to do a bra removal down to ‘pasties’ will be given the option. Those that wish not to do a pastie reveal will be given a variation. Comfortability is priority.
