Classes begin: Sunday, 29th of June 2025 (5 weeks of classes - 6 week commitment) Skills learnt in this class focus on - Traditional bump & grind - The cornerstones of a classic burlesque routine inspired by the Golden Age of burlesque - Panel Skirts - Boa work - Glove peels Time: 12:30pm - 1:45pm Showcase date: Saturday 2nd of August 2025 Technical rehearsal date: Saturday 2nd of August 2025 prior to showcase that evening. Class location: Thebarton Studio Holland St & Winwood Street, Thebarton SA 5031 Showcase and technical rehearsal location: Nexus Arts Centre, Adelaide, 5000. In this class, students will master the art of traditional bump & grind, learning to move with confidence and charisma that harks back to the iconic showgirls of yesteryear. In this class you will explore the art of tease with panel skirts, as well as learning to use the classic burlesque prop - the boa.
